Clarification -- Muscadine festival not free

The North Carolina Muscadine Harvest Festival in Kenansville Saturday is not free as was stated in Wednesday's News-Argus. Cost is $5 to people age 1 through 20 and $20 at the gate for people 21 and older. Organizers said this morning the original plans were to separate the winery wine tasting and the concerts, which were not free, from the rest of the festival, but that was not possible. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.muscadineharvestfestival.com for $15. The festival opens at 10 a.m. Saturday.
