Wayne to offer over 50 condensed courses

Wayne Community College is offering more than 50 condensed courses during the second half of fall semester.
The college has scheduled one day of registration for the condenses courses for next week and another two days of registration in October.
Registration will be held on the main campus in Goldsboro from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 for the eight-week courses and another set of 10-week fall courses and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 for the eight-week courses.
The eight-week term is Oct. 17 through Dec. 13.
Added courses not already listed on the fall schedule include Personal Finance, Business Insurance, Funda-mentals of Selling, Word Processing and Fundamentals of Computing. Additional sections of some classes like Art Appreciation and Introduction to Computers have also been added. A new Introductory Algebra class and a Composition Strategies course and lab will run 10 weeks from Sept. 26 through Dec. 14.
Students can sign up for eight, online classes including Art Appreciation, Substance Abuse, Business Communi-cation and Accounting Software Applications.
The college also offers 25 courses at the Watkins-Das Learning Center on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base for civilian and military students.
