LaGrange arrest

LaGrange and Goldsboro police arrested a woman Monday in connection with the robbery of the Wachovia Bank in LaGrange Sept. 6.
LaShonda Marquette Johnson, 25, of 1004-A Lincoln St., LaGrange was charged with armed robbery, trafficking in cocaine and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.
Investigators said she drove the getaway vehicle in the robbery. they seized a weapon they said was used in the robbery and some items taken.
She is being held in the Wayne County Jail under $140,000 bond.
Officers also said they have identified another member of the group that robbed the bank.
Warrants were issued charging Fremandeus Connell Williams, 25, of 1106 Deveraux Street, Goldsboro, with armed robbery, second degree kidnapping, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. He has ties to the New York and New Jersey areas and is considered armed and dangerous.
