Portions of Ash Street to be closed

Portions of Ash Street will be closed this week as work crews prepare the roadway for repaving.
Starting Tuesday, during daytime hours, the four-lane avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between George Street and Herman Street.
From 6 p.m. until 6 a.m., the street will be closed entirely between George and Herman streets. Drivers are urged to use Elm Street as an alternative route.
