Ingram appointed to Duplin County Board of Elections

The state Board of Elections has appointed Carolyn Ingram of Kenansville to replace Jimmy Sauls of Warsaw on the Duplin Board of Elections.

Sauls did not seek another two-year term on the board.

Ms. Ingram is a Democrat.

She took the oath of office last week, along with returning board member Albert Brown of Rose Hill, a Democrat, and Harold Raynor of Beulaville, a Republican.

The board re-elected Brown as chairman and Raynor as secretary
