Accidents
An unknown driver crossed the median of U.S. 70 Bypass twice near Elizabeth Street and struck a guard rail, doing $4,000 in damages to the vehicle and $3,000 in damages to a guardrail. The vehicle was owned by Gregory Jones Jr. of Nahunta Road, Pikeville.
*Heli Gonzales, 20, of 113 Lockhaven Drive, was charged with no operator's license after a vehicle she was driving ran off the road on U.S. 70 bypass near William Street. Damages were estimated at $5,500.
*Theodore V. Grisham Jr., 77, of 106 Waldrop Road, Dudley, was charged with careless and reckless driving after the vehicle he was driving struck a parked car along U.S. bypass near William Street. Total damages were estimated at $7,000.
*Preston Leano Diggs Jr., 32, of Beech Street, said he swerved to avoid a truck that had crossed the median on William Street near Royall Avenue and ran off the road, striking a utility pole. Damages were estimated at $7,000.

Investigation
Goldsboro police are investigating this report:
*Evelyn Merrit Odom said someone broke into Merritt's Supermarket on Royall Avenue and stole an air-conditioning unit and related items with a total value of $4,230.
