Wachovia in Mount Olive robbed

MOUNT OLIVE -- Police are investigating an armed robbery around 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Wachovia Bank at 210 N. Center St., Mount Olive.
Investigators said three employees were in the bank when two black men of an unknown age wearing orange home-made masks entered. One man jumped over the counter, and the other pointed a gun at the employees. The first man took an unknown amount of money out of the drawer, and both men ran out of the bank going toward John Street. They were seen driving away in a mid-sized four-door vehicle.
