Sex offender

charged again

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a Goldsboro man Friday and charged him with taking indecent liberties with a child.

Tony Curtis Goff, 43, of Grayston Drive, was placed in the Wayne County Jail under $50,000 bond.

The Sheriff's Office received a report that Goff had possibly sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl. Det. Sgt. Tammy Odom investigated and arrested him Friday.

Goff has been registered as a sex offender in Wayne County since April 2003, according to the N.C. Sex Offender Registry. He was convicted in April 1999 of four counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor. He was released from prison in March 2003.

Women charged

as prostitutes

Goldsboro police arrested three women Friday at different locations and charged them all with procurring for prostitution.

Sherry Marie Paschall, 28, of A Street, was arrested at Wayne Motel. She was also charged with simple possession of marijuana. She was put in the Wayne County Jail under $1,000 bond.

Deborah A. Dees, 37, no known address, was arrested on Mulberry Street, near Daisy Street. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and placed under $1,000 bond.

Leslie Sharp, 36, of William Street, was arrested at the Carolina Motel. She was put under $200 bond.

Investigations

Jeane Denise Wooten reported $300 in damage to a door on her 2000 Buick Regal as it was parked outside her home in the 200 block of Rollingwood Drive. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating the break-in.

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating these reports:

*Teron G. Gillison reported a break-in Friday of his home in the 1200 block of Courtyard Circle. A television, video game system, three games and 20 CDs, worth a combined $500, are missing.

*A 1994 Nissan Altima, valued at $3,000, was stolen Saturday from a driveway in the 500 block of King Street. Shirley Dean Rodgers told police the vehicle was taken around 12:30 a.m.

*Someone broke into the office of Wayne Motors, on U.S. 70, either Thursday night or Friday morning. Nothing was reported missing.

*Four Seasons Sports, Ash Street, reported the theft of a 9-milimeter handgun from a display case Friday afternoon. Police searched two men who had been shopping there but did not recover the weapon, valued at $300.

*A gunshot was found in a garage in the 500 block of Green Drive on Friday. The door had $300 in damage while a car window, valued at $400, was also broken.
