Bell, Tucker appointed

RALEIGH - State House Speaker Jim Black has appointed N.C. Reps. Larry Bell of Sampson County and Russell Tucker of Duplin County, to serve on the House's budget conference committee.
They will be among the group of state legislators trying to iron out differences in the House and Senate's spending plans.
The conference committee will try to finalize a state budget before July 1, the start of the next fiscal year.
