KENANSVILLE -- A man robbed the Bank of America Tuesday.

Kenansville police Chief Mike Webster said he hopes to catch the man today. The robber was described as black and slender. He was wearing white tennis shoes.

He entered at about 11:45 a.m., and at noon, he was seen running out the back of the bank. He was wearing coveralls and a hat, which he shed as he fled, police said.

Police found the coveralls and hat. They're still looking for the robber.

The State Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Duplin County Sheriff's Office are helping the police in the investigation.
