Do you have a necklace you don't like? Some animals do. On Saturday, staff at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park will give a presentation about the necklace and how people can help prevent these animals from having to wear it. Participants will get to create a necklace of their own that they can take home as a reminder of the animals they help.

The program will begin at 11 a.m. at the bathhouse. People interested in attending should call 778-6234 to reserve a spot.

On Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the lake bathhouse, a program about leaves will be presented.

Park staff will talk about leaves and participants will make prints of different kinds of leaves. The activity will be hands on and messy.

People can make reservations by calling 778-6234.
