Duplin libraries offer summer reading times

Duplin school children will explore Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds through programs and books at the public libraries.
The 2005 summer reading programs are open to children age 3 to 12, and families are invited to join the Read-To-Me programs. The themes are Dragons and Unicorns, Medieval Life and Times, Knights and Castles, Royal Romps and Magical Mayhem. Every week each library will present a different program.
The schedule is as follows for preschoolers and children who attend Continuous Learning Schools:
*Magnolia Library - Mondays - June 6, 13, 20 and 27 - 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call Cokessie McLean at 289-7056.
*Rose Hill Library - Tuesdays - June 7, 14, 21, and 28 - 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call Carol Smith at 289-2490.
*Warsaw Library - Thursdays - June 9, 16, 23 and 30 - 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call Lynda West at 293-4664.
The schedule is as follows for preschoolers and children who attend Traditional Learning Schools:
*Beulaville Library - Mondays - July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1 - 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call Rhonda Stroud at 298-4677.
*Faison Library - Tuesdays - July 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2 - 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call Glenda Hooks at 910-267-0601.
*Kenansville Library - Thursdays - July 14, 21, 28 and Aug. 4 - 10 to 10:30 and 6:30 to 7 p.m. Call Donna Jones at 296-2117.
Registration for the Summer Reading Programs begins on May 23, and the deadline is June 10 for Continuous Learning calendars. Registra-tion for Traditional School calendars begins June 27, and the deadline is July 15.
