SEVEN SPRINGS --Resi-dents can look at the town's proposed new budget at Town Hall on Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The board will hold a budget public hearing at 7 p.m. on June 8 prior to its next meeting.

The proposed budget is for $49,400, which is about $5,400 more than the board set for this year's budget. An administrative cost of $41,500 is the largest line item. Of that amount, $10,000 is for the church to cover the annual loan payment and renovation costs to turn it into a town hall.

The town hasn't used any of its fund balance this year, although the board had planned on having to use $5,000 of it to cover expenses. The proposed budget calls for using $8,500 from the fund balance next year.
