Duplin to hold summer school for grades 3 to 8

Duplin County will have summer school for students in grades three through eight. Students will arrive at 8 a.m. and dismiss at 2:15 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

The first day will be June 13 for continuous learning and traditional students. The last day will be July 1 for continuous learning students and July 15 for traditional.

Traditional students will be off for the July 4 holiday.

End-of-grade tests will be June 29 and 30 and July 1 for continuous learning students and July 13, 14 and 15 for traditional students.

Students from B.F. Grady, Beaulaville and North Duplin elementary schools and North Duplin Junior Senior High School will attend summer school at the B.F. Grady Elementary School.

Students from Wallace, Rose Hill-Magnolia and Chinquapin elementary schools and Charity Middle School will attend at Charity Middle.

Those from Warsaw and E.E. Smith middle schools and Kenansville and Warsaw elementary schools will attend at the Kenansville Elementary School.
