Police, fire and rescue personnel assist a driver this morning after a collision at North Berkeley Boulevard and an exit ramp from Dr. M.L. King Jr. Expressway, the U.S. 70 bypass. The driver, John Henry Bell Jr., 53, of North Virginia Street, was pinned in his car. The doors had to be cut off so that he could be taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where his condition was not immediately known. The other driver who was going south, Marcus T. Sutton, 16, of Rosewood Road, was charged with a stoplight violation. Both cars were demolished, Officer Jumario Artis said.
