Wayne residents get peek at antique farm equipment

The public is invited to the Wayne County Fairgrounds April 30 and May 1 for the fourth annual Antique Farm Equipment Days.
Gates open at 9 a.m. both days. Admission is $5 for adults, and children under 12 get in free.
See the tractors on parade at 11 a.m. on April 30 and at 2 p.m. on Mat 1.
An antique tractor pull is set for 4 p.m. on April 30, featuring the Duplin Antique Tractor Pullers Association.
The children will get into the act both days, with a Kiddie Petal Tractor Pull at 3 p.m. on April 30 and a Pedal Tractor Race at 3 p.m. on May 1. A tractor rodeo is also set for May 1.
Also on hand will be a variety of foods, arts and crafts, children's games.
Don't bring any alcoholic beverages, and take care of yourselves. The sponsors, the Eastern Carolina Vintage Farm Equipment Club, can't be responsible for accidents.
