Pickle Festival starts this week

MOUNT OLIVE -- The North Carolina Pickle Festival will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, beginning with a golf tournamen at the Southern Wayne Country Club.
Friday's events start at 5 p.m., with children's rides in downtown Mount Olive and a concert by the Band of Oz at 8 at the Mount Olive Airport.
The festival peaks on Saturday, with a variety of food, exhibits, games, contests and entertainment downtown. Skydivers and airplane demonstrations will be held at the airport.
