Tractor show April 30-May 1

Antique farm implement enthusiasts will have a "field day" Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, at the 4th Annual Farm Equipment Days event.
More than 200 tractors, cars, trucks, engines and vintage farm equipment will be on display at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, with a tractor pull as the highlight.
Gates open at 9 a.m. Admission is $5 for ages 12 and older. Younger folks get in free.A pedal-tractor pull for children will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. and a pedal-tractor race will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. A tractor rodeo will be held Sunday.
Food and beverage will be available, and a variety of crafts will be display. The event is being sponsored by the Eastern Carolina Vintage Farm Equipment Club. More information can be obtained by calling Jerry McGinnis at 735-5503 or Larry Lassiter at 738-4458.
