Mount Olive College Singers holding Spring Fling

MOUNT OLIVE- The Mount Olive College Singers' Spring Fling Concert is scheduled for Friday, April 22 at p.m. at the Mount Olive Historic Assembly Hall.

The theme for this year's performance is American Musical Theater and will feature popular songs from hit musicals, including "Anything You Can Do" from Annie Get Your Gun, "There Is Nothing Like a Dame" from South Pacific, "Another Op'nin', Another Show" from Kiss Me Kate, "Try to Remember" from Fantasticks, "Not for the Life of Me" from Thoroughly Modern Millie and "Climb Every Mountain" from The Sound of Music.

Solos and duets will be featured in addition to the performances by the entire troupe. The performers include Marshal Carter of Beulaville, Tony Dowdy of Newport, Christie Hill of Kinston, Brandi Holloman of Mount Olive, Rhonda Houston of Deep Run, Michael Jarman (dance captain) of LaGrange, Drew Moser of Elon, Ashley Mullis of Elon and Anthony Thorne of Wilson. These singers are working with Alicia Howell to choreograph the selections.
