Toddler dies from gunshot

A 2-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday night in his home on South Best Street, Goldsboro police said today.
Police Sgt. David Kelly would not identify either the victim or the shooter who is believed to be a juvenile. He said police were investigating the circumstances of the death.
"We can't release any more information now because of the age of the individuals involved," Kelly said today.
Police have interviewed people Saturday night, Sunday and Monday. Kelly said more interviews were to be conducted today. No charges have been filed.
Investigator M.K. Horstmann was assigned to the case.
