Indecent liberties

Bobby Lee Boseman, Courtyard Circle, was arrested Saturday by Investigators Dale Foster and Trey Ball of the Goldsboro police department's criminal investigation division.

Boseman was charged with indecent liberties with a child and second-degree kidnapping. He is accused of holding a juvenile against her will and taking indecent liberties with her.

He was placed in Wayne County Jail under $50,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is set for Monday.

Officers working Courtyard Apartments assisted in the arrest.

Investigations

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*Denise Lance of Banks Avenue told police an estimated $875 worth of jewelry was missing from a jewelry box in a bedroom of the home.

*Bail bondsman Wilbert Jamal Bass, 26, reported he was assaulted by a 28-year-old female in a parking lot of the courthouse Friday morning. He told police the female hit him in the face twice, then took his gun and pointed it at him. No charges were filed.

*Evangeline Magno, 24, of Dudley was advised to secure a warrant against a 24-year-old woman she said assaulted her in the bathroom of a night club on E. Ash Street at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Ms. Magno said a verbal altercation became physical and the female struck her with a glass and scratched her face.

Accidents

Two drivers were charged in separate accidents, with a total of $11,800 in damage to four vehicles.

*At 3:32 p.m. Friday on Central Heights Road, Paul Anthony Adkins, 46, U.S. 13 South, was stopped in traffic behind a school bus when his vehicle was struck from behind by Angelica Kristine Moses, 18, Dudley. Ms. Moses' vehicle sustained $4,000 in damage and she was charged with failure to reduce speed; Adkins' vehicle received $800 worth of damage.

*On Patetown Road at 5 p.m. Friday, Eric Allan Moore, 31, Church of God Road, stopped to make a left turn into Wayne Christian School and was struck by a vehicle from behind. Robert Sherwood Winders, 47, Clay Brooke Drive, was charged with failure to reduce speed. Police estimated damages to Winders' car at $5,000 and $2,000 to Moore's car.
