Writer's workshop

Wayne Christian School's annual writer's workshop will be held on Thursday, with fourth- through sixth-grade students hearing award-winning author Bill Myers.
Myers, a writer and director, will conduct two workshops and lead an assembly at the school. He is also hosting workshops in Greenville on Friday.
He has received awards for several children's series including "The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle"; "Bloodhounds Inc."; "Secret Agent Dingledorf"; "The Bloodstone Chronicles"; and "Forbidden Doors." He also writes adult fiction and nonfiction.
His books and videos have sold over 5 million copies and won more than 40 national and international awards.
