Wayne Community College's yard sale to help people affected by flooding in western North Carolina will be held Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon at the college.
Donations for the yard sale are still being accepted, and large items will be picked up by request.
Especially needed are nonperishable food items, clothing, household goods, toiletries, unopened makeup and pet supplies. Monetary donations are also welcome.
A large truck or two smaller ones would also be helpful in transporting last-minute items for the yard sale.
