Goldsboro firefighters examine a Ford pickup that was struck this morning by a hit-and-run car at East Ash and Lee streets. The driver of the pickup, Kevin S. Coakley, 35, of Trey Drive, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police Sgt. Mike West said. The other driver, a juvenile, was arrested and charged in a juvenile petition with felony auto larceny and two counts of misdemeanor hit-and-run. He also was involved in a wreck 10 minutes earlier on Olivia Lane.
