Bobby Williams

This writing spider has made its web in Seven Springs. It lives over the dog pen at the home of James Williams. Writing spiders, or garden spiders, spin webs as much as two feet across to capture small flying insects such as aphids, flies, grasshoppers, bees and wasps. A female spider can take prey up to 200 percent of her own size. The spider hangs head down in the center of the web while waiting for prey.
