Members of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Committee and city and county officials gather at Seymour Johnson to view the new fountain on base. A $10,000 donation from the committee paid for the sculpture that serves as the centerpiece of the fountain. Eventually, the brick wall behind the fountain will be adorned with brass plaques to symbolize each military campaign the 4th Fighter Wing contributed to and a bronze star to memorialize each member of Team Seymour who died in the line of duty.
