DUDLEY -- A district attorney has dropped the charges of criminal trespass against two union organizers.
The union is calling it "a clear victory for farm workers' rights."
Francisco Heredia, summer intern with the Student Action for Farm Workers, and Blake Pendergrass, an organizer for the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, were arrested in Nash County on June 25 while meeting with about 20 workers at a farm labor camp. They were discussing working and living conditions.
