Two men wanted

Two neighbors are being sought by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office on felony charges of breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods.

Jasper Wayne Joyner, 24, and Jonathan Lee Reeves, 22, both of Mobile Circle, Dudley, were accused of breaking into the Brooklyn Pizzeria restaurant at 2497 U.S. 117 South in Mar Mac on July 15 and stealing a tip jar with about $250.

Anyone with information on their locations was asked to call Detective Sgt. Shawn Harris at 731-1480 or Goldsboro-Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 735-2255. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Sign stolen

Jackson Oaks sign

A sign for Jackson Oaks was stolen July 4 from a home on Indian Springs Road, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report.

Anyone with information on the location of the sign was asked to call Detective Sgt. Mike Kabler at 731-1488 or 705-8844 or Goldsboro-Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 735-2255. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for two rewards.

Investigations

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:

*A leather jacket and other clothing were stolen between Wednesday and Thursday from a mobile home in the 100 block of Woodside Circle, sheriff's deputies said. The thief had kicked open a door and damaged a security camera to get inside. The resident, John Waylon Pendergraft, estimated the value of his property at $900 and damage at $100.

*A green Craftsman lawn tractor was stolen Thursday from the 1300 block of LaGrange Road, deputies said. The owner and resident, Kenneth Russell Whitley, put a $999 value on the tractor.

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*A digital camera with a case, batteries and accessories and a portable compact disc player were stolen Thursday from a home in the 500 block of North Leslie Street, police said. Two windows were smashed, but the thief may have entered through an unlocked door, police said. The resident, Kenneth Baronsky, estimated the property's value at $2,155 and set damage at $50.

*About $5 in coins was stolen Thursday after a window was broken at a mobile home in the 3200 block of Central Heights Road, police said. A damage estimate was not listed at Bernard Dawson's home.

Collision

A two-vehicle collision on Tuesday at N.C. 55 and N.C. 403 resulted in $7,000 in property damages and a driver was charged with a yield violation at a stop sign, according to a Highway Patrol report.

Flora R. Watson, 68, of Maysville School Road, Mount Olive, was charged after her northbound car collided at 6:51 p.m. with a westbound pickup. The other driver was identified as Lilia Cornejo, 36, of N.C. 55 East, Seven Springs. Neither driver, nor Ms. Cornejo's three passengers was injured.

Missing

A mother and two small children were reported missing Thursday night to Goldsboro police from the woman's shelter.

Amber Dezern, 24, was described as white, 5-feet-3 and 115 pounds with brown hair and eyes. When she was seen last at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, she was wearing gray pants and white shoes. Her son, Jason, 2, was described as 3-feet tall and 50 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Her other son, Titus, 5 months, was described as 2-feet and 20 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. No clothing description was available for the boys.
