Animals of the month
The animals of the month at the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park are frogs and toads.
On Saturday, the park ranger will present a program about several animals with a focus on the hopping amphibians. Participants will meet at the lake bathhouse at 7 p.m.
For more information and to reserve a space, call the park office at 778-6234 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bloodmobile
The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will have a Bloodmobile on Thursday from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at Oak Forest Road Church of Christ. Donors will receive a coupon for a free car wash.
