Dail gets award

Pamela Hedgepeth Dail received Pitt Community College's 2004 Woman of Substance Award.
The annual award goes to college employee who has demonstrated an attitude of service, commitment and caring and who is recognized as an outstanding role model on the campus and in the community.
Mrs. Dail has been a nursing instructor at Pitt Community College for 11 years.
A 1977 graduate of Southern Wayne High School, she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing and a master's degree in education from East Carolina University. She is married to Frankie Dail and has two daughters, Amaleyah and Kamilah. She is the daughter of Paul and Dorothy Eley of Mount Olive.
