A car crashed into a school bus Thursday afternoon, at the intersection of U.S. 70 West and Leslie Boulevard, but none of the students on the bus were injured, according to school officials.
According to a highway patrolman, the bus was stopped at the intersection when the car ran under it.
The driver of the green Honda Accord was not injured, but his passenger was taken to the hospital.
School officials came to the accident scene and arranged transportation home for the seven students that were on the bus.
The Rosewood Elementary students gathered under a nearby tree, talking excitedly about the wreck.
"We were messing around and talking," said one little girl, "when all of a sudden the car hit and we got off the bus."
A boy chimed in saying "I heard a KABOOSH, and then the bus went up a little."
