Author to speak at Library Friends annual meeting

Author Henry Wiencek will make his second appearance of the day in Goldsboro on Tuesday when he speaks at the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Wayne County Library at 7 p.m.
His latest book "An Imperfect God: George Washington, His Slaves and the Creation of America" has received critical acclaim.
Wiencek has appeared on "CBS Sunday Morning," "60 Minutes II" and "BookTV" and has lectured at numerous colleges and historical conferences.
Wiencek will deliver the Belk Lecture at the Goldsboro Rotary Club earlier in the day and will speak to the Friends later that evening.
The Friends of the Library invite the public to join them in the Gertrude Weil Auditorium in the Wayne County Public Library for Henry Wiencek's talk.
Copies of his book will be available for purchase.
