Duplin drug arrests

KENANSVILLE -- The Duplin County Sheriff's Office has arrested three men and a woman on drug charges.
They are Joel Candido Arias Rangel, 46, of Mount Olive, Federico Herrera Perez of Warsaw and Abelardo Borja and Joana Bermudez Martinez, both of Magnolia.
Rangel was placed under $1 million bond on charges that included trafficking in marijuana and methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture cocaine and conspiracy to traffic in marijuana and trafficking in marijuana.
The others were placed under $500,000 bond each.
Charges against Perez include trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charges against Borja include trafficking in methamphetamine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine..
Charges against Martinez include trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, trafficking in methamphetamine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.
