Investigations

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:

*A set of golf clubs, a tent, yard lights, bags and papers were reported stolen Tuesday from the 1400 block of Mills Road in Mount Olive, sheriff's deputies said. The resident and owner, Rhesa Calvin Hart, estimated the property's value at $1,930 and estimated the damages at $150 to a wooden door.

*A communications system, bag, checkbook, camera cover, folder, digital camera and memory cards were reported stolen between Monday and Thursday after a vehicle was broken into at the 1600 block of Old Grantham Road, deputies said. The owner, Otis Jerome Best, estimated the property's value at $942 and estimated the damages at $300 to the door locks on the vehicle.

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*$1,000 in damages was caused to the right side of a truck on Saturday at the 1000 block of N. William Street, police said. The owner, Juan Castoneda Rodriguez of Fort Run Road in Snow Hill, reported the damages.

Wreck

*A driver from Goldsboro was injured on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Drive and Royall Avenue, police said. Ida Ussette McKinney, 36, of Piedmont Airline Road was traveling south on Wayne Memorial Drive and attempted to turn onto Royall Avenue and struck a Norfolk Southern Railroad pole and rolled over. She was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital by the Wayne County EMS and was treated and released. Damages were estimated at $3,000.

Missing

Two people have been reported missing to Goldsboro police.

*Shanita Rene Johnson, 18, of 202 House St. was described as black, 5-feet-6 and 160 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. When she was last seen on Friday traveling by foot to Central Park on Ash Street, she was wearing a necklace with a charm "B", a gray shirt, black pants and white tennis shoes.

*Betty Jo Russell, 35, of 1509 Mimosa St. was described as black, 5-feet-6 and 120 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. When she was last seen on Wednesday at 1802 N. George St., she was wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the location of either person was asked to call police at 736-4933.
