Applications are being accepted for WAGES Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Each Tuesday this month from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., parents can register children at any of the following six WAGES locations in the county: 601 E. Royall Ave., 507 E. Royall Ave., 505 E. Chestnut St., 801 Poplar St. in Goldsboro; 612 S. Breazeale Ave. in Mount Olive; and Smith Street in Pikeville.
Extended hours are also available for enrollment. On March 30, April 27, and May 25 from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., registration will be taken at the Royall Avenue, Mount Olive and Pikeville locations.
Applications will not be accepted without all necessary documentation. These include the child's birth certificate, Social Security cards for parent and child, income verification, immunization's record, insurance information, food stamp verification, a current physical and verification of special needs, if applicable.
