Break-ins
The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating four cases of breaking and entering which occurred over the past few days.
Griffin Exterminating Co., at 2208 N. William St., reported that a break-in Friday morning. Approximately $700 worth of merchandise was stolen, and there was about $150 worth of damages to the window.
According to the police report, the suspects entered the business by pushing in an air-conditioning unit on the north side of the building.
Someone also broke into the Boys and Girls Club on Royall Avenue between 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday morning. Nothing was missing, but there was about $200 worth of damage to the building.
There was also about $150 worth of damage done to the Merry-Go-Round Child Care, which was broken into sometime between noon Thursday and Friday morning. Nothing was missing from the building.
The Quik Stop on Slocumb Street, reported an attempted break-in Saturday morning. Nothing was taken, but there was $200 worth of damages to the door.
