Child-care providers who have not signed up for the "Preparing Children for Success" conference can still register on site at Wayne Community College on Saturday. The regional conference runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $20.
The conference includes a keynote address and 24 sessions on a wide range of topics, plus a trade show. Keynote speaker Dr. Dean Clifford will share her thoughts on getting children "Ready for School, Ready for Success."
Attendees can earn four hours of training credit from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Child Development.
This is the fourth annual conference the Child Care Resource and Referral of the Wayne County Partnership for Children and Wayne Community College have provided for child-care providers. For more information, call 735-3371.
