PRINCETON -- Two people were killed Thursday night in a head-on collision about four miles west of Princeton on U.S. 70 near Holt's Pond, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Rodney Britt, 33, of Goldsboro, and Floyd Long, 42, of Princeton, were both driving their own vehicles when they collided head-on at 8:55 p.m.
Trooper Creech with the Highway Patrol in Johnston County said the wreck is still being investigated. The report will probably not be completed and available until Monday, he said.
