Meeting postponed
A forum planned for tonight to discuss a new Mount Olive high school has been postponed due to the weather. The forum will be rescheduled later.
West memorial
West Pharmaceutical will hold a commemorative service on the first anniversary of the Kinston plant explosion on Thursday.
The service, from 1 to 1:30 p.m., is for West employees and families of those injured and lost. There will be remarks by Troy Player, plant manager, and Donald E. Morel Jr., CEO of West Pharmaceutical Services.
It will be held in Immanuel Baptist Church, 712 Airport Road in Kinston.
