Drug charges

The Goldsboro-Wayne County Drug Squad arrested and charged Crystal Ann Thigpen Martin, 24, and Randy Chester Parsons II, 22, both of W. Main Street in Pikeville with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, maintaining a dwelling for keeping and selling a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Parsons received an additional charge of driving while license revoked. In the same incident, Jason Adam Hartley, 23, of North Case Drive in Freemont, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Crime of the Week

An armed robbery is this week's "Crime of the Week." On Monday at 5:48 a.m., a black male about six-feet tall and wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket and a ski mask entered the Pantry at 1601 E. Ash St. Once inside, he brandished a knife, demanded money from the clerk and threatened to kill a customer who witnessed the crime. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about this crime or any crime in Wayne County is asked to call Goldsboro-Wayne County Crimestoppers at 735-2255. People calling do not have to give their name and may be eligible for a cash reward. Crimestoppers may pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest.

Investigations

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:

*Two amps and a gold necklace were reported stolen Friday after the back door was pried open of a residence on Black Jack Church Road. The owners, Jerry Dan Gray and Jerry David Gray, estimated the property's value at $3,000.

*A rented truck, driver's license, social security card and money were reported stolen Friday at gunpoint on the street on Tommy's Road and N.C. 111 N. Jermaine Terrell Ray Williams, who had rented the car, estimated the property's value at $25,160.

Missing Person

A 2-year-old boy has been reported missing by his mother to the Goldsboro police. Eric Jamell Hamilton of 1003 Courtyard Circle was desribed as black with black hair, brown eyes, a medium complexion and a birth mark "L" on the side of his stomach.

He was last seen at the residence on Oct. 23 in a vehicle.

Anyone with information on his location was asked to call the police at 736-4933.
