Poll 'watchers': Election system already has people in place to ensure honesty

 Much has been said about the potential for shenanigans at the voting polls but there is little if any proof that anything has been going on that shouldn't.

That's why the word we get that there might be unofficial poll "watchers' on duty on Election Day causes us concern.

We are afraid that some of these "watchers" might decide to interject themselves into the process, resulting in the intimidation of some voters.

That should not and will not be allowed.

If there is one freedom that Americans should be able to cherish, it is the freedom to cast your ballot in peace and quiet.

So if you have voted and have no further business at the polls, go home and don't become a disruption. The system is working just fine, thank you.
