You did it! Community deserves thanks for supporting boys, families

Almost $9,000 was raised this past weekend for two little boys battling two pretty big diseases.

In keeping with this community's record of generosity, Chase Hooker and Dillyn Hamilton got some much-needed help and support.

If you were one of the many people who stopped by Friday to support the families, thank you.

Watching your child fight leukemia is bad enough. Wondering how to pay the bills makes it even tougher.

You helped take one more worry away.

And the hugs and the support mattered, too.
