A new day: Now we will see what happens, when there is no block

President Barack Obama is mad at the wrong person.

Speeches about how his patience is at an end when it comes to immigration reform should be directed at his party's Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who has blocked votes on multiple immigration reform bills ad nauseam.

What's the reason? Those bills contain strong calls for border security first -- then a workable plan for amnesty.

And now, the president is announcing that if Congress doesn't act, he will move forward on his own on an executive order that creates a path to citizenship and closes the nation's porous borders.

Heck, he could have done that a year ago. All he had to do was call off his attack dog. Such a bill already exists.

So as you listen to the continuing discussions about inaction in Congress, keep one thing in mind -- it is very easy to manipulate a situation when you have the control. All you have to do is create a diversion of rhetoric while your henchman does the dirty work.

Let's see what happens now that the president can no longer use that for an excuse.
