Cha-ching: Don't be fooled -- you are paying for president's campaign sweeps

OK, so the truth is, President Barack Obama cannot travel anywhere without his Secret Service detail and there are certain costs involved with fueling up Air Force One.

So, it is understood that he would incur some extra expenses as president that should be picked up by the taxpayers.

But there is a growing concern and a running joke that the president has stopped being commander in chief and has become campaigner in chief -- and that he is blending the jobs and misusing resources to do it.

And if you look at the statistics, you will see why.

Recent GOP complaints state that the president has made more fundraising trips in a month than his predecessor made his entire first term. They also point out that the president's official trips seem to also end in some sort of campaign stop in swing states.

See why you should keep a close eye on this one?

That's right, when he travels officially, you are footing the bill -- all the bill -- as well as the costs associated with his entourage.

The president has a right to make his case. But to turn his office into a press machine and to take advantage of the resources provided to him by taxpayers is hypocritical and shady.

Keep that in mind when the "class warfare" rants start anew.
