Abbey Nicole Strickland and Joshua Trey Cash of Raleigh, N.C., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 11, 2017, at four o’clock at Harrell’s Chapel Church in Snow Hill, with the Rev. Bryan Huffman and the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robbie and Wanda Davis Strickland of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Bobby and Alma Strickland of Goldsboro, James Davis of Snow Hill, Sallie Strickland of Goldsboro and the late Camilla Davis Pender of Snow Hill.

Abbey graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2011 and summa cum laude from East Carolina University in 2015 with a master’s degree in accounting.

She is a CPA employed with Thomas, Judy & Tucker Accounting Firm in Raleigh.

The groom is the son of the late Robert and Patricia Cash of Maury. He is the nephew of Randy and Janice Allen and grandson of Bessie Allen and the late Gid Allen of Maury and Rosa Cash and Gail Cash and the late Robert Cash Sr. of Kinston.

Trey graduated from Greene Central High School in 2008 and Western Carolina University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in emergency and disaster management. He completed his master’s degree in 2016 at Grand Canyon University.

He is employed with North Carolina Emergency Management in Raleigh.

Mallory Strickland Kendall, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, while Alexandra Hope Strickland, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Abbey Dail and Samantha Haislip of Snow Hill, Maddie Poole of Raleigh and Karen Stallings of Fremont, friends of the bride.

Charlie Grace Kendall, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Presiding at the register was Madison Aycock, cousin of the bride.

Dr. Spencer Dail of Snow Hill served as best man. Groomsmen were Colby Chase, Tyler Haislip and Andrew Harrison of Snow Hill, James Kersey of Pensacola, Fla., and Ray Scott Spence of Kinston, friends of the groom. Jonathan Joseph Davis, cousin of the bride, was the Bible bearer.

Donna Quinn, friend of the bride, directed the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a tented reception at the Strickland family farm in Goldsboro. Matthew and Lynn Harrison of Pikeville greeted guests.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by friends of the groom at the City Club in Snow Hill.

Following the honeymoon in Asheville, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
