Kelly Rose Beasley of Mount Olive and Brandon Douglas Cole of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 10, 2016, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ricky Charles and Rose Garris Beasley of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Willis Marshall Beasley and the late Faye Gurganus Beasley of Seven Springs and the late Rev. William Gerald and Marjorie Pridgen Garris of Dudley.

She is a graduate of North Duplin High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She currently attends East Carolina University to pursue a master’s degree in social work. She is employed as a social worker at Johnston County Department of Social Services.

The groom is the son of Clyde Douglas and Deborah Caudle Cole of Peachland and the grandson of the late Earl Ray and Florence Griggs Cole of Wadesboro and Jerry Lynn and Eldis Horne Caudle of Peachland.

He is a graduate of Anson High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management from North Carolina State University. He is employed as a sales representative at Helena Chemical Co.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory fit-and-flare Mori Lee gown covered with Alencon lace over soft satin.

The neckline featured a sweetheart cut with an illusion overlay that flowed into an off the shoulder design.

The back of the gown featured a low back design with matching illusion overlay and lace that flowed into a semi-cathedral-length train with a beautiful scalloped edge.

The gown was complete with a fingertip-length veil adorned with Swarovski crystals and delicate beadwork.

Mrs. Rose Garris Beasley, mother of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Katlyn Eloshway Rhodes, Mrs. Miranda Ward Hyatt, Mrs. Krystle Elizabeth Carrigan, Mrs. Jacqueline DeAngelo Holmes and Miss Kaitlyn Nicole King, friends of the bride; Miss Kailee Anne Cole, sister of the groom; and Mrs. Holly Taylor Beasley and Mrs. Lindsey Taylor Beasley, sisters-in-law of the bride.

Mr. Clyde Douglas Cole, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mr. Christopher Drew Cole, brother of the groom; Mr. Brett Matthew Gulledge, cousin of the groom; Mr. Trey Harold Glenn Carroll III, Mr. Cade Alan Baughman, Mr. Richard Brian Allen and Mr. Matthew Albert Tyson, friends of the groom; and Mr. Brandon Charles Beasley and Mr. Ricky Lee Beasley, brothers of the bride.

Miss Mya Michelle Beasley, Miss Madison Marie Beasley, Miss Laney Paige Beasley and Miss Lexi Belle Beasley, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Master Trysten Michael Beasley, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Mrs. Claire Kornegay Eloshway and Mrs. Melba Ezzell Harrell directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Miss Lauren Ashley Moore. Mrs. Krista Fournier Daijogo distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Miss Leigh Ann Underhill, pianist.

A reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at the Duplin Commons.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Goldsboro.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Ribeyes Steakhouse.

Events held before the wedding included a shower hosted by Joan Carpenter, Dianne Martin and Cheryl Cole, aunts of the groom, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Marshville; a shower hosted by Angela Hughston and Sallie Fiore, aunts of the bride, at the home of Angela Hughston in Faison; a shower hosted by the bride and groom’s church, Bear Marsh Baptist Church in Mount Olive; a shower hosted by co-workers of the bride; a bachelorette weekend in Myrtle Beach, hosted by Mrs. Katlyn Rhodes; a bachelor weekend in Nags Head, hosted by Mr. Doug Cole and Mr. Drew Cole; and a lunch provided by Mrs. Dollie Kornegay for the bridal party on the day of the wedding.
