Kellie Parker Best and Jeffrey Bryan Turner exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 14, 2015, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Christopher Turner and the Rev. Dr. Dennis Atwood officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Tony Brent Best and Bobbie Parker Best, of Mount Olive, and the granddaughter of Kenneth Brent Best and Helen Bland Best, of Mount Olive, and the late Gordon Robert Parker and Audrey Cox Parker, of Mount Olive.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is employed as a sales executive at iContact in Morrisville.

The groom is the son of William Carroll Turner and Sharon Brogden Turner, of Mount Olive, and the grandson of Edna Carter Turner and the late William Henry Turner, of Mount Olive, and the late Marion Joseph Brogden and Eva Ezzell Brogden, of Mount Olive.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and an alumnus of Wake Forest University. He is employed as an account executive at MMI in Cary.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a fitted A-line gown that featured a sleeveless sweetheart bodice with a high-neck illusion tulle neckline accented with lace appliqués and a chapel-length train. Her vintage headpiece featured tulle and feather accents.

She carried a bouquet of white and blue hydrangeas, which were tipped in gold, white roses and seeded eucalyptus. The bouquet was accented with lambs ear and green berries and wrapped with white satin ribbon, which featured a family heirloom emerald brooch.

Morgan Breanna Best, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids included Heather Brooke Honeycutt of Mount Olive, Jordan Kelly Bland of Faison, Kathleen Kelly Forker of Greensboro, Reneé Suzanne Crutchfield of Dry Fork, Va., and Brittani Womack Holloman of Roxboro.

William Carroll Turner, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen included the Rev. William Christopher Turner of Angier, Jeremy Eugene Bourne of Chicago, Ill., Nicholas Presley Holloman of Roxboro and Marshall Edward Bomar of Dry Fork, Va.

Cindy Ezzell Bell of Mount Olive and Myra Bea Ezzell Odom of Mount Olive directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Melissa Bland Turner of Angier, sister-in-law of the groom. Justin Taylor Streuli of Greensboro, friend of the couple, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Justin Smith of Wilmington, pianist; Paige Vickory Barwick of Mount Olive, violinist; and Emma Vogelsinger and Tyler Millard of Greensboro, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a dinner and dance at Southern Wayne Country Club.

Greeting guests as they arrived at the reception were Tony Allen Honeycutt and Jean Turlington Honeycutt, of Mount Olive, and Michael Wayne Kelly and Beverly Keene Kelly, of Faison. Betty Jo Parker, aunt of the bride, served wedding cake.

A rehearsal dinner, given by the groom's parents, was held on Nov. 13, at The Country Squire Restaurant in Kenansville.

Friends and family honored the bride and groom on numerous occasions over the past year. The bride's parents hosted an "I Do BBQ" engagement party at their home in May. The couple was honored with a shower hosted by family and friends at Ribeye's Steakhouse in Mount Olive in September. The couple's church family hosted a shower to celebrate their marriage in October at First Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Also in October, close family friends of the bride and groom hosted a kitchen shower in their honor at the Historic Train Depot in Mount Olive. Members of the bridal party held a bachelorette weekend in Charleston, S.C. in September.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
