Amanda Claire Bergeron of Baton Rouge, La., and Tyler Andrew Brannan of Baton Rouge, La., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 18, at 1 p.m. at Fleur de Lis Event Center in Mandeville, with Sean Fawkes, friend of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Johnny and Kathy Bergeron of Baton Rouge and Sheryl and Lynn Alleman of Plaquemine, La., and the granddaughter of Nell Bergeron and the late Jay Bergeron of Baton Rouge, the late Charles Edward McCurley of Destrehan, La., and Dolores B. Leblanc of Baton Rouge, La.

She is a 2008 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy of Baton Rouge, La., then Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

She is employed as a registered nurse at Lane Regional Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Timothy Blake and Helen Louise Brannan of Goldsboro and the grandson of Stephen Earl and Shirley Mae Brannan of Goldsboro and John George Vavro and the late Rose Marie Vavro of Jacksonville, N.C.

He is a 2007 graduate of Wayne Christian School, then graduated from North Carolina State University, and currently is a graduate student at Louisiana State University working on a Ph.D. in mathematics.

The bride was escorted by Johnny Bergeron and given in marriage by Johnny Bergeron and Sheryl Alleman.

Alyssa Fawkes served as matron of honor, while Molly Carroll was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Robin McIntosh, brother’s partner.

Timothy Brannan served as best man.

Groomsmen were Adam Brannan, groom’s brother, and Beau Bergeron, bride’s brother.

After a wedding cruise to the British Isles, the couple resides in Baton Rouge, La.
