Jessica Michelle Jones of Mount Olive and Jacob Rackely Jones of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 21, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Dunn, with pastor Tom Wagoner officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Millisa Jones of Mount Olive, the granddaughter of Emmitt and Carolyn of Goldsboro, Annie Jones of Mount Olive and Donnie and Jenny Cannady of Faison and the great-granddaughter of Mildred Jones of Kenansville.

She is a 2010 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. She is currently attending Wayne Community College, transferring to Mount olive College in the spring of 2014 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed with Johnston County Schools.

The groom is the son of Steve and Wendy Jones of Goldsboro, the grandson of Donald and Mary Jones of Goldsboro and Jimmy and Gwen Barber of Goldsboro and the great-grandson of Eunice Turlington of Goldsboro.

He is a 2010 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. He is employed with Wayne County Public Schools.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

The bride wore an ivory all-over beaded lace trumpet gown that featured a champagne underlay, an empire waist, cap sleeves and a chapel train.

She wore a Russian tulle blusher with scattered crystals and feathers with pearl and diamond accents.

She carried the Bible her mother carried in her wedding covered with lace from grandmother’s wedding gown, with a bouquet of calla lilies, peacock feathers and ivy.

Heather Jones was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tabatha Faircloth, Angie Wise, Samantha Jones and Alli Jones.

Steve Jones served as best man. Groomsmen were Austin Smith, Keith Jones, Jim Barber and Drew Pierce.

Gabby Godwin was the junior bridesmaid.

Gracelyn Britt was the miniature bride. Benjamin Hope was the miniature groom.

Ushers were Josh Lynch, Arlon Jones, Will Toler and Colton Crissman

Lela Pearl Britt and Carley Hamilton were flower girls.

Jennifer Britt directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were John and Brenda Smith. Hope Jones and Janey Jones distributed programs.

Ray and Julean Self and Jeremy and Cheryl Autry were honorary guests of the bride

A program of wedding music was provided by Joel Groce, pianist, and Chris Parker, vocalist.

A reception given by bride’s parents followed the ceremony in the tabernacle of the church.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Mount Olive.
