Kirstee Leighann Bratley and Jace David Muehlenthaler were married Sept. 21, 2013, at Eagle’s Landing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, N.C. Minister Donald “D.J.” Coles officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted by both her fathers and given in marriage by her parents.

Kelsee Bratley of Goldsboro, N.C., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Brittany Hood of Texas, friend of the bride, and Shelby Muehlenthaler of Goldsboro, sister of the groom, were her bridesmaids.

The bride wore a lace-draped A-line ivory silhouette style dress with cap sleeves and a sweetheart scoop neck. The dress was accented with a chapel train, a natural waistline and a keyhole back with scalloped lace, double-layered tulle and a beaded sash.

The ivory fingertip-length veil was embellished with an intricate lace edge and adorned with beads.

Tyler Muehlenthaler of Goldsboro, N.C., brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Klinkicht of Goldsboro and Jim Wisniewski of San Diego, Calif. Usher was Kyle Williams, brother of the bride.

Pianist was Katie Jackson, friend of the bride.

Wedding coordinator was Craig Miller, uncle of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Vince and Traycee Williams of Goldsboro, N.C., and David and Sandi Bratley of Navarre, Fla. Grandparents are Maryann Bratley of Greenville, N.C., and Pete and Jean Little of LaFayette, Ga.

Parents of the groom are retired Lt. Col. Dave and Julie Muehlenthaler of Goldsboro, N.C. The groom is the grandson of Dr. Jim and Nancy Bates of Bullhead City, Ariz. Shirley and the late John Muehlenthaler of Ankeny, Iowa, and the late Annette Bates of Nevada, Iowa.

A reception was held at Eagle’s Landing following the wedding ceremony.

The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Village Steakhouse.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Spring Creek High School, and attended Wayne Community College.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2013 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace engineering. The groom is in the Air Force and is a recent graduate of Officer Training School.

The couple will be stationed at NAS Pensacola in Pensacola, Fla.
